Little small object

Image: Little Small Object

Have I talked about Little Small Object before? I can't remember. And it doesn't matter. Let's talk about it again, then!

LSO is a little company run by artist Sarah Neuburger. She makes all these cute things: stamps, dolls, cards, books, art, and even Happy Free Fun Downloads.

So cute it makes me cry.

Good things should never end

Image: Poke London

Two websites that I have heard people talk about lately are Poke's Unlimited for Orange and MOMA's online version of the exhibition Design and the Elastic Mind. The latter shows a fairly novel and cool way of supporting regular browsing with additional interactive illustrations. The former is unlike anything I've seen before: a long, almost infinitive, path of small interactions and games that make life much more pleasurable. Simply because, as we all know, "good things should never end".

I adore.

Falling in love with penguins

Image: Penguin Classics

At little late as usual, but still, I recently discovered that Penguin Classics last year (re-)published 20 titles under the series title "Great Loves." The book covers, designed by David Pearson, are magnificent. Porn almost.

Peter Saville

Image: Sister Honey from Dazed & Confused: Inside Out 2000 (Saville Associates)

Something made me think of graphic design the other day. Peter Saville (Saville Associates) is one of my current favorite graphic designers. Among other things, Peter designed album covers for Joy Division and New Order.

The image above is porn disguised as art. Eye candy, so to speak.

Lisa, oh Lisa

I just can't stop myself from talking about my favorite designers and graphic designers. Lisa Bengtsson is the most recent of my pleasurable discoveries. Her family picture wallpaper project is fabulous.
